Those of you who made it to the Alley in Aiken’s Mardi Gras event last year hopefully stopped by to try some of my most favorite cuisine, Cajun! If you didn’t get a chance, the good news is that I am having a repeat performance. On February 22, I will be serving up the best Cajun-inspired food around. Don’t miss Mardi Gras festival in the Alley!

Mardi Gras Festival in the Alley Downtown Aiken

We are honored to once again be teaming up with the Aiken Downtown Development Association to host the Mardi Gras festival, which will be held in the Alley Downtown Aiken on Newberry Street. It is sure to be one of the best events in Aiken, just like last year. And for those of you who don’t know my background; it was Cajun that inspired me to switch gears in my career and risk it all to be a chef.

What’s on the Menu at the Mardi Gras Festival in Aiken?

Since the masses loved our menu so much last year, we decided that it best not to mess with perfection. This year, the menu will again be as follows:

  • Muffuletta
  • Chicken Jambalaya
  • Smoked Turkey and Andouille Sausage Gumbo
  • Etoufee Shrimp or Crayfish
  • Bread Pudding

If you think you’ve had Cajun before, you haven’t had it unless you’ve had mine. The festival is not only a great time to come and fill your plate, it is also an excellent way to meet your neighbors and to support the ADDA! Aiken might be a small town, but it won’t be so sleepy on the 22nd!

What Else Can you Expect at the Mardi Gras Festival in the Aiken Alley?

The best part of Mardi Gras is that admission is completely free. There will not only be food served up fresh and hot by your’s truly, there will also be Abita Beer and Live Music! And don’t miss the second Line Parade that will peruse the downtown at 6:00! The festival will run from 5-9 pm, so there is plenty of time to make your way and join us for an amazing time!

Wedding Catering and Corporate Events

If you were one of the lucky to get engaged this Valentine’s Day, coming to try out what I can do on Saturday is an excellent idea. We cater to Augusta, Aiken, and Lexington for both wedding and corporate catering. The festival will be a great time to see what we can do! If you have any questions, please contact us directly. We would love to save your date and get the ball rolling.
